ISMIE's original site was very dated style-wise, and difficult to navigate to find the information that users were searching for. I tackled the design keeping in mind it should have a professional, clean air of a medical-based business, without being too sterile or generic just because it was a medical-based business.
Their brand colors give it a nice, calming accent, while the use of serif fonts and the subtle watermark in the background give the site more of a reputable and trustworthy air that is needed for an insurance business.
Menu
Their website has quite a bit of information, so the menu highlights some of the top pages and call to actions to important areas of the sites related to the menu item, while also allowing the user to go to overall pages to drill down further.
Accounts and Forms
The account pages for members include numerous forms that were cluttered and small. We wanted to approach it with more readdability and organization for the ease of the user.
Components
The company designs and builds the with modularity in mind, so that most components can be placed somewhere and function. I created many states for many of the components as guides for any of the devs that may work on it.
